Wren G. Downs

Ms. Downs is a graduate of New York Law School (J.D.) (2024) and West Virginia University (B.S., Journalism) (2021). She was admitted to the New Jersey State Bar in 2025 and began her legal career with a focus in family law, handling divorce, custody, parenting time, child support, alimony, adoption, equitable distribution, prenuptial/cohabitation agreements and other matrimonial related issues. She is also involved with civil litigation matters including contract disputes, landlord-tenant law, and post-judgment enforcement actions.

She has received formal training in restorative justice, mediation, conflict coaching, and group facilitation, and has worked with Community Dispute Resolution Centers to implement these practices. She has also completed domestic violence training with JBWS (formerly Jersey Battered Women’s Service) and presently volunteers through the Battered Women’s Legal Advocacy Project to provide pro bono legal services to victims in domestic violence matters.

She is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association and the Essex County Bar Association (Family Law Committee and Young Lawyer Sections).
