Raj Gadhok

Mr. Gadhok is a graduate of the Rutgers University School of Business (B.S. 1996) and Seton Hall University School of Law (J.D. 1999). He served as the Vice President of the Rutgers School of Business Governing Association from 1995 through 1996 and graduated with his degree in Finance. Today, he remains an active member of the Rutgers University Alumni Association, as well as the Scarlet "R" Club. Mr. Gadhok continued with his extracurricular community efforts at the Seton Hall University School of Law, where he served as a two-year volunteer for the New Jersey Mentor Program, which involved tutoring inner city youths for moot court competition. At the conclusion of his studies, he was honored for his dedication and contributions to the program.

Mr. Gadhok started in the practice of law in the area of medical malpractice defense litigation. He joined Kozyra & Hartz, LLC in Roseland, New Jersey in 2002 and was promoted to Member of the firm in 2007. Mr. Gadhok is admitted to practice in the federal and state courts of New Jersey and New York and primarily focuses on civil litigation (personal injury, employment discrimination, consumer fraud, business disputes), as well as criminal defense and municipal defense matters.

A lifelong Essex County resident, Mr. Gadhok is an active member of his community and has taken leadership roles with both the Essex County Bar Association (ECBA) and the New Jersey State Bar Association (NJSBA). He served as the Chairperson of the ECBA Young Lawyers Section for the 2006-2007 term and was the 2007 recipient of the ECBA Young Lawyers Section Achievement Award for his numerous contributions to the organization and its programs. Mr. Gadhok has also served on the ECBA Officers and Trustees Board since 2006, as well as on the Executive Committee of the NJSBA Young Lawyers Division as the Essex County Representative since 2008. He has appeared as a guest panelist for Civil Trial Preparation programs approved for Continuing Legal Education credit and has also been named as a Rising Star in the 2009, 2010 and 2011 editions of the New Jersey Super Lawyers publication.
